Humble Beginnings

Set on the picturesque banks of Lake Mulwala, Black Bull Golf Course is a championship layout woven through one of Victoria’s most scenic golf resorts. Originally part of the historic Naranghi property this land was home to the Bott family for three generations. Renowned for importing the Black Angus bloodlines from Scotland, the Botts helped shape Australia’s farming heritage and earned national acclaim for their bull breeding.

In line with the evolution of Yarrawonga Victoria, the property was acquired by Lotus Living, a family-owned business founded in 1988. With strong roots in farming and community building, Lotus Living brought a visionary approach to transforming this land into a top 100 golf club resort in Australia.
