Humble Beginnings

Black Bull Golf Course sits on the historic banks of Lake Mulwala, its story rooted in the land that the Bott family farmed for three generations as part of the Naranghi property. Celebrated for introducing Black Angus cattle bloodlines from Scotland, the Botts left a lasting mark on Australia’s agricultural heritage. The property later came into the hands of Lotus Living, a family-owned business with deep ties to farming and community, who transformed it into one of Australia’s top 100 golf club resorts.
