Does the pool have a day pass?

No, our pool is exclusively available to in-house guests.

Is the resort dog friendly?

Dogs are not permitted inside the accommodation building. They may be walked around the resort grounds on a lead but cannot enter the main building.

What does a Sebel voucher cover?

Sebel vouchers can be redeemed for accommodation, dining at our restaurants, and treatments at Sol Spa.

Please note: Vouchers cannot be used at Black Bull Golf Club unless golf is booked as part of your accommodation package.

Where is the nearest boat ramp?

The closest public boat ramp is located on Hogan Road, approximately 1 km from The Sebel Resort.

Can we leave our watercraft in the water near Sebel overnight?

While there is no specific law prohibiting leaving a watercraft in Lake Mulwala overnight, NSW marine safety laws still apply. This includes ensuring your boat is properly anchored and secured, and that it is not left in a restricted or unsafe area. Penalties may apply for unsecured vessels or breaching prohibited zones.

What is the capacity for the venue?

The Sebel Yarrawonga can accommodate up to 250 guests, offering flexible event spaces that suit both grand celebrations and more intimate gatherings. Whether you’re planning a large reception or a smaller, more personal event, our stylish function spaces with stunning lake views provide the perfect backdrop.

When do I need to confirm numbers?

Numbers for your wedding reception generally need to be confirmed approximately 2 to 3 weeks prior to your wedding reception. Final numbers will need to be finalised 2 weeks prior.

At The Sebel Yarrawonga, we streamline the wedding planning process with three key meetings designed to ensure every detail of your celebration is meticulously planned and stress-free.

• MEETING #1: Initial Planning and Vision (3–4 Months Before the Wedding)

Our first meeting is held approximately three to four months before your wedding day, where we sit down with you (in-person or online) to discuss your vision and preferences.

This is our chance to understand the style and atmosphere you envision, and we’ll go over essential details like room setup, seating arrangements and the overall event flow.
We’ll also discuss decoration preferences, cake arrangements, and any additional elements like music selection and entertainment.

• MEETING #2: Finalising Details and Confirmations (1-2 months Prior)

About 1-2 months before your wedding, we’ll meet again to confirm final guest numbers, menu options, dietary needs,
any last-minute adjustments, We will also review your seating plan and floor layout. We’ll ensure that everything aligns with your initial vision and answer any additional questions you might have.
At this point, your wedding plan is almost complete, allowing you to relax and focus on enjoying the lead-up to your day.

• MEETING #3: Final Walkthrough and Personal Touches (Wedding Week)

The last meeting, typically held in the week of your wedding, allows you to meet with our on-site coordinator, who will oversee your celebration to ensure it runs smoothly. This is also when you can drop off any personal items,
such as place cards or bonbonniere, that you’d like set up on the day. Our team will handle every detail, from the ceremony setup to the final toast, so you can fully enjoy your day without stress.

Do we set up the room for you?

The floor plan & structure is set up by us. All we ask is that the couple organise the ideal floor plan with clear instructions on how they would like the room set up.

Is there someone there on the day to coordinate?

Yes, The Sebel Yarrawonga provides a dedicated event coordinator to ensure every detail of your wedding day flows seamlessly. From overseeing the setup to managing the schedule and assisting with any last-minute needs, our experienced team will be there to support you and ensure your day is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.

Can we bring our own food?

We allow cakes, personalised catering items, and traditional wedding sweets.

Black Bull Golf Course

Do you have a dress code?

Yes. Our dress code requires that all players and non-players wear closed in toe shoes. Singlets are not allowed. A collar is not required.

Is there a driving range?

Yes. We have an undercover driving range called The Bull Pen. It is opened from first light in the morning and closes at 4pm during daylight savings times and 3pm other times.

Are there rental clubs available?

Yes we hire out golf clubs at $20 for 18 holes and $15 for 9 holes.

Are push carts or golf carts available for hire?

Yes, we have both push carts & golf carts available for hire.
